This information applies to the current Bisous à vous — Tangier edition, not to the separate Limoux websites. The publisher and privacy contact is Whitmarsh Imports Ltd, at the registered address and administrative email below. Updated 1 November 2026.
Reading & hosting
Reading the magazine requires no sign-in and it has no newsletter form. The separate advertising booking portal is described below. Its content and calendar are static. Hosting and asset delivery necessarily process requests, which may include IP address, browser details and requested addresses. The preview may also use platform diagnostics to report page errors. No specific hosting-log retention period is asserted here; contact the publisher for provider details.
Browser state & tracking
Menu and calendar choices are kept in page memory. The only cookie the magazine sets is bav_lang, which stores “en” or “fr” after you choose a language with the flag switch; it holds nothing else. On a first visit to the home page without that choice, the server may read the country supplied by the hosting network for your request, or your browser’s language setting, solely to open the matching English or French edition; the magazine does not store your IP address or country. No magazine-added Meta Pixel, Google Ads or Metricool tracker is installed. This is not a claim that the hosting platform or a separate external destination never processes diagnostic or browsing information. See Cookie information for this edition’s actual controls.
Email & external links
Contact links open your mail application. If you email the publisher, your address and message are used to handle the enquiry and related correspondence. Do not send unnecessary sensitive information. External sites apply their own privacy notices. Fonts load from Google Fonts and photographs from hosting asset delivery, so those providers receive the requests needed to supply them.
Advertising bookings
If you book an advert, we store your account email and sign-in details (via our hosting provider’s authentication service), your booking details (rate chosen, any declared Tangier business address, business name, contact email, link, alt text, placement, months, price and status) and the artwork you upload. Uploaded artwork is kept in private storage readable only by you and the publisher until it is published as a paid banner. Payment is handled by Stripe, which receives your email, billing details and card data under its own privacy notice; we receive payment status and identifiers, never full card numbers. This information is used to provide, display and account for your booking. No fixed retention period has yet been set; ask us to delete a draft or account at editor@bisousavous.com.
